Ever since becoming a parent all my senses have been increased ten fold.
1) Sense of smell
I can smell a freshly wet diaper, and can anticipate the poop before it comes out.
2) I can hear the slightest sounds from my baby a mile away (maybe not a mile but im sensitive).
3) The most important sense being affected is taste. I can saver more ketchup now because instead of putting a cup of ketchup with my rice, in only need a couple of table spoons for the same rice. I can taste the date the ketchup was made, what kind of tomato was used, and how much salt or vinegar added.
4) Whenever the baby sleeps in the bed, i become a rock and never move, that one time i did not know he was in bed with us i turned and my elbow touched him (not wacked) and then without thinking I instinctively moved and stopped rolling that way.
Im hungry now im gonna eat.

Dude, I feel the same way when I'm with my nephews. When I baby-sit, sometimes overnight, I can't sleep, because I feel I will either roll over on them, not hear them crying, they'll stop breathing, or something like that. I guess if I did it every night, I might get used to it and sleep better.
